Folk culture is one of the basic activities of a traditional society. There is nothing wrong with calling this the culture that dominates traditional societies. There are similarities between folk culture and traditional culture. It can be pointed out as a result of the collective action of the people .There is a culture belonging to every ethnic group in the world. These are built according to the norms accepted by each culture. Often these are combined with certain beliefs that people have long associated with, and these are traditions that are accepted by the general community.

There is no creator of folk culture. It represents the basic aspirations of the people. There are also differences between traditional culture and folk culture. Traditional culture was created within society and folk culture was born as a result of the evolution of human society, it is a developmental stage of industrial and post-industrial society.

By the 19th and 20th centuries, the scope of folk culture was expanding. This was due to the development of various research as well as publishing media and the accumulation of ideas and values ​​around it. Sociologists point out that due to the media, folk culture has changed and these have become more widespread in critical thinking.
